Backing calculations use 42” WOF, a ½” seam allowance, 4” of fabric overage on all sides, and the least amount of fabric while prioritizing horizontal seams. Piecing backing in different orientations may result in more or less fabric required.
Yardage is calculated within 4” of exact measurements. Consider purchasing extra if you want insurance against miscuts.
Pattern assumes reader has knowledge of basic skills, including basting, quilting, and binding your completed quilt.
