Indulgent quilt pattern release

Truth be told, I’m nicknaming this my quarantine quilt. But regardless, at least I can chuckle a little and find some lightheartedness in releasing a pattern for you all to whip up while stuck in your home, +/- bored children who can’t go to school. Who else is quarantine sewing? What weird times we’re in right now.

So this pattern came about because I had a layer cake of Modern Backgrounds Luster that I tried to destash THREE TIMES and it didn’t sell. I finally decided to write a pattern that was fast, easy, and would use both layer cakes and fat quarters. This quick project was the result. The large blocks are super simple to piece and work great with both large and small scale prints. Check out all the variations popping up on Instagram! (#indulgentqulit)

So go ahead – indulge yourself in a quick project, just for you!

Happy sewing!

  1. So fun and flexible – I was just reading a post about sashing and VOILA you made it work for this so well. The not sashing-sashing! Thanks.

    • I’ll be honest – I hate sashing, ha!! I tend to design without it if I can still get the look I’m after. Not-sashing sashing all the way!
